The writing of the first volume, in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, had convinced me that I had not yet gone to the end of my cycling adventure. After driving from Europe to Southeast Asia, I still had the other half of the globe to discover.

I left again. I met Gretzky in China, rode in a Brazilian billionaire's helicopter and descended deep into a mine in Bolivia. That and 75 other chapters!

Histoires à dormir dehors 2 officially hits all bookstores on February 16. My writing spanned two years, the last year almost full-time. It was hard. I racked my brain, re-read myself dozens of times, changed commas, selected photos, changed my mind. I took chapters out and put them back in, then re-read the whole thing for the 60th time... In the end, I couldn't be happier with the result: the book is exactly what I wanted to do.
