The last kilometers in Tajikistan will have taken place in the image of the country: high passes, a horrible road, and an illicit payment at the border!

We continue our journey on the Pamir road - yes, I know it's long! - and we camp in some of the most beautiful places of my trip.

Freddy, Pierre and I leave Khorog after a few days of rest. With the climb to the Pamir plateau, the pleasure increases with the altitude.

After northern route that I have just followed, any path would appear beautiful to me. Especially if Afghanistan is day after day on the other side of the river, so close and at the same time so far.

To reach Dushanbe, the capital of Tadjikistan, at Qalai Khumb, the northern route is the most direct and scenic. It is also the one that will come closest to finishing me off.
