Number of new best friends who do sumo: 1

Just back from a great month in Japan, here is a poor attempt to sum up this journey filled with adventure and discovery, with the help of some phone-quality numbers and pictures.

Top 3 cramped places I've slept:

3- Capsule hotel in Tokyo. Much bigger than one might imagine. There is even a place to sit in your "room". And it's even quieter than in many youth hostels!

2- Curled up on my plane tablet for 13 hours. Especially since the space between the seats on Asian flights is even smaller.

Nice place to sleep, where these lovely ladies are.

1- Between the wall and the last seat of the train. Not having seen fit to reserve my place in advance, I found myself without a seat. I still managed to sleep 2 hours on the floor of the train, my head crushed by a seat tilted back.

On a related note, top 3 weird pillows I've slept on:
3- Filled with plastic balls.
2- Consisting of a large piece of hard styrofoam.
1- Bag of rice sewn in a piece of cotton. Strangely comfortable and the smell is not unpleasant! Note that the rice is not cooked;)

Number of ice cream cones eaten: 4

Top 1 of the phrase that is overused on an airplane: Sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.

Half vanilla, half green tea.
